Reproductive PsychologyWhile education is important in regaining a sense of control, having adequate support for the isolation, stress, grief, and frustration that often accompanies infertility is imperative. Our approach is based on work done at Harvard Medical School’s Mind-Body Medical Institute, and includes techniques which can help ease the emotional stress and depression experienced by individuals and couples diagnosed with infertility. Through our integrated therapy approach, we can help you feel more in control, and better able to cope with whichever path to parenthood you choose.
Sage Breslin, PhD. - Director of Clinical EducationDr. Sage Breslin has worked in the field of Psychology for over two decades. She received training at Northwestern University as a Counseling Psychologist, and has trained as a healer. Her varied life journeys and experiences enable her to offer a transformational, integrative therapy approach for individuals and couples facing the challenges of infertility.
Marian Edelbrock, PhD. - Clinical PsychologistWith a wide range of experience in women’s issues including infertility, Dr. Marian Edelbrock believes in the importance of the mind-body connection and in seeing individuals in their social context. She is trained in a range of psychotherapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic and interpersonal, integrated with relaxation, meditation and guided imagery. |
